This is Me

My Photo
My name is Emily and I am a fun loving mom of two and wife of my honey, Nate. I have been married for nine years; all of which I have lived in Utah. My two kids are named Sammy (4) and Quinn (2); and they keep me busy and always learning. I have a lot of interests and passions that define and motivate me. Two of my favorite things to do are papercrafting and singing. On this blog I try to share the real me. I don't hold back and I keep little private. Please take me for who I am and what I strive for...to be my best and leave a legacy of love.

School starting

Sammy starts Kindergarten on Monday and I am really excited for her. We met her teacher and she did her pre-testing. The testing went really well and her teacher told me that she is already reading at a 1st grade level; so that is really neat. Thanks to all the amazing teachers that Sammy has had in her "pre-school" life she is WAY ahead...thanks for all you have done for our little girl! Thanks for challenging her and pushing her to learn! Thanks for just being who you are and for what you do. You know who you are...so thanks. And can I just say...this has nothing to do with Nate or I. :)

We are going school shopping on Saturday and I am so excited. Sammy can't wait to get her sparkly shoes. It is adorable that she already knows what she likes and what she wants. I have always been super picky about clothes and what I want to wear...so she is like me that way. I get that about her. :) I am excited to share this special time with her and get her ready to start school in style.

I do have a dilema...I have a conference call scheduled with about 200 people during the time I am supposed to be dropping Sammy off for her first day. What should I do?!??!? I can't not take her...right!??!?!

If you can somehow swing it, I would do what I could to be there. It is kind of a big deal. Good luck!

I took your advice and made it happen. Sammy didn't seem to care that I took her...but I was glad I was able to see her off on her first day of school. Thanks for the encouragement.
