Rainbow Snow

Summer actually feels like it is here to stay and I am so happy about it. This weekend was absolutely beautiful! The sun was out and the temperature was fabulous. In fact...it was snow cone weather.

I really love summer for a dozen reasons...but one thing I really enjoy is the snow cone shacks that pop up all over the place. In Springville I think we have 6 of them...two within 1 minute of my house. And when you can get a refreshing treat for $1.00...I am sold.

I start to crave them and think about them on my way home from work...I actually drive by 5 of them on my way home...I wonder why I think about them so much.

My kids love them too...on Saturday afternoon we went and grabbed one after dinner and it was so tasty. We sat on the porch surrounded by weeds and slurped and spooned every last bit.

I remember my dad had a mini Hawaiian Ice machine when I was a kid...but we didn't make snow cones much...but I know why he bought it...they are just so good...and when you need one...you need one.

So go out and get a snow cone...you will be happy that you did.
