Image found hereI am still trying to lose weight and I am down another pound this week. I did well with my eating until Friday...and I kind of lost it....I went to the store and bought a bunch of candy and ate it all...and with Father's day this weekend we had some treats...uggg.
But I still lost a pound and I am on track again. My breakfast was very good, healthy, and balanced. I have all my fruits and veggies ready for the rest of the day...waiting for me to eat them. The menu is planned for the week...we are set for success.
Also, I started walking with a friend at night and we are determined to go nightly and get our bodies in a better place. It feels good to move my body and be outside in the fresh air. I think it is doing good things for the physical and mental side of me. I might even try to run the corners of the track at the high school...we will see.
Wish me luck this week...and pray that I can keep away from the sweets.

Hi Emily! I am terrible on keeping up on blogs (especially my own, but I decided to read up on a few today. I just read your post about trying to lose weight. Have you heard of myfitnesspal.com? I love it and it is helping me stay on track- especially with my eating cause that is my biggest downfall. It is like a facebook for weight loss, so you hook up with your friends and you all support each other and your are kind of accountable to each other. It's free to join, and it is amazing. If you join, go ahead and add me as a friend. My username is andreaashell. I would suggest having your walking buddy join up too. I find the more people that can see my progress, the harder I try. Anyway, off of my soapbox now!! Good luck with everything!!!
Andrea
Okay back on my soapbox cause I don't think I explained it very well. The website helps you figure out how many calories you need to be eating to get to your goal weight. It has a HUGE database of foods that already have their nutritional info entered in, so all you have to do is choose from a list and add it to your food diary. Same with the exercise calories--but those are a bit inflated, so I usually cut them in half. Anyway...back off my soapbox =o)
